I also refuse to join or use Facebook or anything else like it. So, Earthwaves is it for me. There were a lot of interesting posts after the Japan quake, but there are at other times long dry spells, and this has been true for a few years. So, those of you who post rarely or not at all: time to sign up and post your opinion on whether Earthwaves is just a couple of people talking to ourselves, or is it useful or interesting?

For those who mostly post on other sites, are any of these worth the time? What are we doing right/wrong on Earthwaves?
