Canie, I read this to mean this one not related to climate change, but they expect more severe weather in 20 to 30 years because of climate change. I've posted here before that I would expect less tornadoes, not more, because if high latitudes warm more than low latitudes, then jet stream and mid latitude storms should be weaker (and jet stream may tend to stay farther north, esp. in spring/summmer). But is way more complicated than that so I could be wrong.
