Re: A computer programming project for Roger or anyone (plus) A May 3, 2011 disaster mitigation meeting April 28, 2011 |
Once again, I already know all of those things. I have been doing both conventional programming language computer programming and spreadsheet programming for years. One of the goals here is to have a single program that does all the things that need to be done. And my main Perl forecasting program can do that by calling other programs including TrueBasic programs. It could also call and even manipulate spreadsheet programs. But I don't want to give it the ability to do that as that involves feeding Windows artificial keystroke data as if it were entered from the keyboard. Some of my other programs do that. But it would be too risky for my forecasting program as it is intended to be available to people around the world as a freeware download.
