I wouldn't count on the Texas Lineament, though. The impression I'm getting is it goes from west Texas towards New Mexico/Sonora. I also seem to recall hearing about some other lineaments that could be in your question area, but I don't recall the names. Sometimes being an amateur has it's drawbacks.

But I also 'see' the line of quakes. It's not an unreasonable question.
