UPDATE plus Earthquake Forecasting Computer Program Project – March 23, 2011

My earthquake forecasting program is running again. And my Web sites should be updated with the latest charts. forecast data, and freeware downloadable computer programs within a few days. An E-mail report is also being prepared for circulation regarding that recent destructive earthquake in Japan. Some version of that report will probably also be stored here or on one of my Web sites.

Now that I have the software problem with my bulletin board computer program identified I should also be able to use the bulletin board at my Web site to help with data discussion and display efforts. That should help speed communications efforts. However, the bulletin board on the Web site will still not allow people to post notes until the computer program that runs it has had some features added.

EARTHQUAKE FORECASTING COMPUTER PROGRAM PROJECT

This is another important project that is being considered.

My forecasting computer program could be modified so that it could be run at some Web site by anyone. Then they would not need to download the program and run it on their own PC.

If that were done then researchers around the world could help develop the probability equations in the program so that it would generate more accurate forecast data and so that it could be used to generate important earthquake triggering effect data.

It would be even better if the program could be run on a supercomputer. It contains dozens of variables that might be adjusted so that it would generate information that took into account the conditions at specific fault zones around the world. On a regular computer, adjusting some of those variables to see what can happen might require a week of processor time for each change. A supercomputer could do that with ease in seconds.

HUMANS, ANIMALS, AND ENERGY FIELDS

One of my forecasting colleagues sent me the address of the following interesting report on the effects of various energy fields on people and animals. Some of what is discussed looks accurate to me. Some of the information might be an exaggeration of those energy field effects.
