EQF; It seems the problems started with the design of the reactor. It was apparently not built to withstand a mag 9.2 quake anywhere near it. I'm not sure that would even be possible and the economics would prevent it even if it was possible. Storing spent fuel rods in such an unprotected location was another serious error. And I have no desire to come back, disaster mitigation expert or not! Roger
