Having lived in the San Fernando Valley from 1955 to 1979 and then Ventura County until 1986, I am well acquainted with Channel 7. Some of my family still lives in Ventura County and when I want news on some Southern California event, I usually go to www.latimes.com. However, the LA Times is so liberal, I generally avoid them except for news on weather or brush-fire events -- anything non-political.

But the KABC link is a good one -- thanks for the tip.
