Thanks, Chris. It's helpful to understand what we can't see and grasp how it can be effected. I just remembered that prior to this, there had been several quakes offshore from Mendicino FZ north to offshore Oregon. I seem to recall that the area is home to underwater volcanic eruptions/ spreading center, etc. Could this contribute to the pressure?
