Another note for Canie |
Another Note For Canie I have been watching the visitor count on the bottom of this Web page for the past few hours. And you really do have a lot of visits to this board. Or, perhaps one or a few people are paying a lot of visits. How widespread is that list of visitors? At my own Web site I can see that there are visitors from around the world though they are not individually identified. Now that my new bulletin board exists (even though it is not actually running) I am using it as a reference for people to check in my E-mails and Newsgroup notes etc. I have generally stopped pointing to this EarthWaves board for those references. If people want to argue over notes posted here then because it is a conversational type of board, in the future that will probably not cause too many problems. But trying to use it as a reference source in the past was difficult and embarrassing because of all of those negative comments. Researchers don’t like to see anything like that when they are trying to get specific types of important technical information on some subject such as earthquake forecasting. Once again, thanks for keeping the board running in spite of all the fire and brimstone, he.. and high water over the years.
