Hi Jen. My uncle was a water witch. He used a forked stick from a Willow Tree. He was very good at what he did. I know he made hundreds of dousing’s and maybe only missed two or three.

My guess for the Oregon Vortex is that there may be a lodestone there. One other possibility is an iron meteorite. There is a logical explanation for everything. The problem is that when you try to find that explanation you can destroy what is there. In the case of the Oregon Vortex nothing would be gained by doing that. Let it remain as it is. A mystery that can’t be solved, or won’t be solved. Besides we all need a little mystery in our lives.

Now that I know Petra and I have been up that road many times I know I will have no trouble in getting her to go with me. We will find out for ourselves if Gravity Hill is an optical illusion, or a freak in nature. In some ways I hope we don’t discover anything and solve nothing.
