I was quite bad at it and so "retired" for good 11 years ago for teaching in front of a class. But, I still work with students 1 on 1 for research, and am helping out HW with the lab for her geologic interpretation of seismic reflection data (it's not called that, but that is what it is). I helped a bunch of them yesterday interpret faults, both on paper, and also by looking in 3D at the multibeam bathymetry which has scarps. That seemed to go well but I was fried after. This was for a basin within the wider North Anatolian fault system. We will probably work on the Palos Verdes fault offshore Long Beach later.
