Amit; I looked at the days from 1973-2010, 13877 days in all. During that time the moon reached a maximum or minimum declination 992 times, about every two weeks. Also during that time there were 582 mag 7+ quakes. But only 105 of the quakes were within a 3 day window centered on a maximum or minimum declination day. Don't waste your time on this.
