Roger, I'm at UCSB and spent all afternoon copying data from damaged hard drives...so I did skim/read through his post. I can't evaluate EQFs claims and don't have time to go to the other sites. But, I agree with you that we have seen nothing posted here on Earthwaves that makes me think there is any predictive power to this. On the other hand, what's his name, Fraser Smith? who recorded the huge signal before the Loma Prieta quake...and probably has been recording since...maybe at Parkfield...that I can take more seriously so I'm not going to say that there is no hope that some kind of EM approach is not worth looking at.

By the way, we heard for years that there were no precursors to the last Parkfield M6, but in the last year or so they realize that there was some tremor...lower crust.
