Just another personal note (looks like a slow day on the board)... Quake was centered about 3 blocks from Jefferson Jr. High School, where I attended Jr. High back in the early Pliocene. This school was completely destroyed in 1933 and has been rebuilt (hopefully) since the Field Act.
