a lesson (O/T?) |
I got up to go hiking a little way up a mountain at 5:15 this morning. After passing him less than a meter away twice without seeing him, the 3rd time by I looked down and noticed someone passed out on the lawn of the hotel. He was breathing, I asked him if he was OK, no response. I was going to tell someone at the hotel but someone joined me to hike and said he would not worry. But, I thought I would pass along a valuable lesson: if you are at a professional meeting and you are going to drink that much, it is probably a good idea to take off your meeting nametag and put it in your pocket at some time before you pass out. If I was a little meaner, I could have had some fun with that. taxpayer money does not pay for alcohol; the source was other. Hmm, wonder if Penny can top this? By the way, it was not me; I actually don't know who it was as I did not read the nametag.
