Today, as was the case a couple weeks ago for an extended time, there are not only no tropical cyclones anywhere in the world, but there is also nothing brewing anywhere in the world, except a small cluster of thunderstorms SW of Hawaii that is really nothing; the Central Pacific Center just like to point out anything because they have nothing to do there except surf.

We are entering the peak of hurricane season for the Atlantic and East Pacific basins.
