GSA Cordilleran Session/AAPG Pacific Section meeting this week |
I'm headeded from Santa Cruz to Santa Barbara. Thought I'd show up for work and give a talk since where I work merged with a larger institution where no one knows who I am. Then, to Anaheim for the Pacific Section AAPG-GSA Cordilleran joint meeting, where I present a talk and a poster. This is pretty normal, except for me: I think Canie may have seen my last official talk at a meeting, and that may have been 6 or more years ago (have I been posting here that long?). My last formal talk of any kind was 3 1/2 years ago and it was not great. So, I'm a bit anxious and plan to rehearse. At least the poster is done (California-Haiti comparison of faults and folds). The link below is of a added session on the Baja quake; note the title for one on triggered slip in southern California. I have not checked whether you can find the abstracts on the linked web site. I'm Christopher Sorlien. Follow Ups: ● Re: GSA Cordilleran Session/AAPG Pacific Section meeting this week - PennyB 14:33:26 - 5/24/2010 (77117) (0) |
