Thanks Brian; I looked at the state geologic map online but did not see a link to the new fault activity map. OK, I googles it:

A student and I have been working on the near offshore of southern California and this fault map is rather incomplete to inaccurate. We have a very good fault map and can make digital faults, but the timing is not good: I'll be submitting my USGS-NEHRP final technical report on Monday.
