soon after the quake the town of Mexico Missouri, maybe 30 or 50 miles north of here, was under a tornado warning, with a tornado reported on the ground east of there soon after. Now we have a severe thunderstorm headed right for us so I think I'll pay attention here rather than Baja/southern California. Oddly, Missouri had the 2nd most tornado fatalities over the last decade (70) after Tennessee's 100.
