Yes, with the moderate NNE dip (if it is that nodal plane and not the SSW-dipping one), the epicenter is liable to be far north of where any surface fault or fold would be mapped. If this quake is below the Puente Hills thrust, it might be on other thrusts that have been inferred by various people in various publications; Davis et al 1989 Journal of Geophysical Research, Shaw et al. 2002 (I think). It may or may not be the deep fault taht we and the others think is responsible for part of the folding at Palos Verdes and the offshore wide continental shelf there. Headed home from Fort Lauderdale, may try and compare ut to the SCEC Community fault model tomorrow.
