A student on the ship has been doing a nice blog on what we have been doing. It has pictures. See the link.
Heading back to Miami slowly; coring now, and then surveying where I think there will be glacial period subsided coastal terraces/near paleo sea level reefs. This last area is where Haiti may put some infrastructure in hopes of getting some part of the population etc. to settle in a safer area. The question is whether enough is known about how safe. We will then head back to Miami at 10 knots with most of the instruments out of the water. Chris Chris
