On the way home from our road trip we just happened to pass through Greensburg Kansas late when we needed a motel, so stayed there. The link shows pictures of what it looked like 2 1/2 years ago. The tree trunks have since sprouted small branches. Reconstruction is incomplete. It is supposed to be a green town but except for the large building (school?) we saw little evidence of that.

It is kind of the U.S. Pompei of torandoes.
