Thanks for clarifying, Brian. I see now how I misread that part of your post. But the point you are making is still a bit murky to me. IIRC you used to exhibit somewhat greater skepticism about anthropogenic global warming than you do now.

BTW - thanks for your earlier explanation of how humidity in valleys can actually improve astronomical observing for bright objects. Hadn't considered that.
