I've cross country skied at Mt Pinos and I've also been there at night when there were telescopes set up (I think; I may have the latter confused). I also went there once to ski with HW, 5 or 6 monts pregnant, and they would not let us past a chain checkpoint...so we tried to drive up a dirt road. First time the little Red car (Tercel) could not make it through snow, but it was about a foot deep and it was steep, as I found out later when we were coming down after dark and I fell a couple of time. HW did OK, the experience did not hurt HD any. Nor did the 14+ mile hike up Little Pine Mountain when she was 7 months pregnant. This is probably much better to do than sit in front of computer.
