M6.2 follows M6.8 by 47 seconds |
There was a M6.8 south of the equator followed by a M6.2 in China 47 seconds later. This is 44 degrees of latitude apart, and 28 degrees of longitude, so well over 5000 km apart. The delay is too short for it to be a P wave trigger (8 km/s would only get 400 km in 50 seconds). So, coincidence, or something mysterious?
