Q for Chris, JV, and ALL |
Howdy folks, I'm wondering if it has been determined how high the tidal wave (tsunami) was that hit Banda Aceh after the Sumatra quake. Some reports put that wave elevation over 30 meters. Heebee jeebees if you were in front of that monster. Chris or John, anything scientific or truthful about this? a lot of the Asian tsunami stories are far fetched----unbelieveable. The quik bird photos don't lie.....140,000 people were swept away. I'm trying to visualize it. I've seen the films of the river of water. Any science on this? a bit OT, but interested to know...
