just to add to Canies observation I have noticed since the begining of May an increase of activity from Magic Mountain all the way down to Long Beach, this has included 3 mag 4+ quakes. I found an article (i'll look again and repost here) that Northridge was proceeded many months by the same activity. I've said this before, but, could you imagine if we had access to a data base and satelltie imagery that goes back say 5,000 years? Then we'd know exactly if these little pop ups were precursors or not.
