Simply visiting websites is not going to cause you to receive spam. You get spam because they have your email address. So unless you are going to websites and posting your real address (not a smart thing anyway) then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Funny thing is, I used to get the most spam to my ISP email address that I never used, in russian of course. Seems my most public addresses get the least spam.
