Featured in the review, and book, are several of the infamous amateur-prediction names we've all encountered in the past, along with a skeptical and somewhat humorous description of their methods.

I found the site of the review while searching for information on Jack Coles, of Loma Prieta earthquake fame (now generally debunked). Over on Syzygy, Coles is, once again, dunning the posters there for money - via mysterious messages transmitted through Berkland, from an equally mysterious location (which I think is a prison, but can't seem to find details of his crime anywhere. His incarceration is never mentioned on Syzygy, and I think that it is a deliberately kept secret).
