Chris, since 2005 it looks like the temp had a
small drop. Below is another link that shows the
last century and a half of temps.

Besides the last few years there are another couple
of years in the chart of interest for droping temps.
Recently there has been another 40 days of spotless
sun. The 20th century record for this was around yrs
1912-1913. In the linked chart, one can see the
corresponding drop in temp during that time. Also
the following Sunspot cycle was the smallest for
the century
