I was able to get the article because the university library has subscriptions for many journals and I have a login to be able to get them. If you are not affiliated with a university and think you want access like that, I suppose you could see if your local library has such access, but I doubt it because of cost. Paper copies of certain journals like Science and Nature are liable to be in local libraries, at least the larger/better ones.
