Project priorities |
Things will clarify further once the computer program I have been talking about is available for downloads. But I can explain a few things right now. And I thought that I already did that in recent posts. It doesn’t matter what signals I am detecting because I don’t have time to both forecast earthquakes and keep program development efforts moving along. I am not even collecting most signal data right now. I have decided that the most productive place to concentrate my time is with the programming efforts. So, as I said, there are two other sources of signals that people can work with. 1. There are radio wave type signals that you can find at that QuakeFinder Web site that I listed, and other sites. And in my opinion, governments and independent researchers should begin developing the technology for detecting those signals around the world. It should not be difficult or expensive. 2. Until that technology becomes widely available people can use Ear Tones. They appear to work amazingly well with my program. Ear Tone data that I received from someone on the opposite side of the planet from where I live not only matched my own signal data. When I put them into my computer program the results they generated looked even better than the data that I have been generating using my own signals. Perhaps one person in 1000 can hear Ear Tones And with more than six billion people out there I am sure that we should be able to find a few hundred around the world willing to let us know when they hear them. However, there has to be a location where those data can be stored so that professional and amateur researchers around the world can gain access to them. And I don’t have time right now to create such a resource. Earthquakes are not a threat where I live. But they are for innumerable people living on the U.S. West Coast. And one would think that in an effort to save his or her own hide, some West Coast resident who can write CGI computer programs would be willing to gamble a few day’s time to put together a good Ear Tone time collection and display computer program. We also need a good collection point for data regarding Earthquake Clouds and other earthquake precursors. An important question is: If people who are living in areas where they are threatened by earthquakes are not interested in doing everything possible to save themselves, even simple things such as collecting Ear Tone data, then why should they expect or demand that people living elsewhere should try to save them? Many things that might be tried simply won’t work. But no one will know that until those things are tried. If people want to wait for some government agency to create an earthquake forecasting program that will give them a warning before one occurs near them then I think that they are likely to have a long wait.
