Slightly altering a popular saying, “If earthquakes were easy to predict, everyone would be forecasting them.”

Obviously it isn’t that easy. My own computer programming effort has been underway for about ten years. The program code is actually fairly easy to write once you are familiar with the Perl language. Organizing the help files with instructions and explanations has been one of the most time consuming steps.

The world has been waiting a long time for an earthquake forecasting program that works. A few more days’ or weeks’ wait should be tolerable. Hopefully, this program will get the job done.
