I'm with you on that, Brian. It'll take a lot more convincing. Also, Steve mentions that the Bedini patent "creat[es] an open thermodynamic system far from equilibrium," and that "that sharp gradients are a known area that violates the second law of thermodynamics." The second law is not explicitly not applicable to systems not in equilibrium, and thus is not violated by the sharp gradients he mentions. By coincidence, the current issue of Scientific American has an article addressing that exact issue.
