I'd have to search online to find the Meers fault. I'm posting because I checked the maps of location, and one of the 2.9s plots right in an area of gravel pits, and the other a bit north of there. But, the precision and accuracy of the epicenters may not be that good. A big quarry (or filling of a reservoir) can probably and certainly (respectively)a ffect seismicity, but if the gravel pits are small, or old, maybe not.
