I'm not involved in the shakeout drill. At the SCEC meeting it was suggested that people like me participate during the shakeout like they would during a real earthquake, but I will be at sea then and all I would be likely to do during a real earthquake is provide information or answer questions on this page. But, for a quake on the San Andreas (the scenario quake), I might not have new information for many of you, because the posters here are pretty familiar with earthquakes etc. Chris
