OK Luke, I looked at your research page. It might be interesting to discuss some of your list of methods. I'm off to a slow start getting anything done today, so will limit it to your mention of the blackbucks and the Dec 2004 quake. I'll give no opinion on this except it seems plausible: the tsunami arrived at India a couple of hours (2?) after the quake...or at least 1. So, sure, the animals could have felt the seismic waves. Or, more likely because you state it was a few minutes before the quake arrived, they felt the waves arriving...by vibration...or maybe they saw the waves. But, this has nothing to do with earthquake prediction...it has to do with early warning. This means that the quake has already occurred. You have a big list of methods, some of which may be of interest, but no information how you use these...how you monitor and compile these to make maps.
