Thanks for that information. It might save me a lot of time. I thought that I would probably have to translate that sun and moon location program into Perl to avoid having TrueBasic start installing programs when it is run. Now that I am aware that that won't be necessary I can plan on just including the program and support files in my circulation directory. Perl will call it when necessary. I need to do some additional testing on the numbers it is generating. They are a little different than what MICA generates. But it looks like they are still close enough that they will work okay. I cannot ask people to go out and purchase the MICA program. And it is so slow since data have to entered via Perl's keystroke generation program instead of through a read file, pipe, or even the clipboard. Why they made that change with the newer version is beyond me. The older version worked better but did not have the necessary date range.
