It sounds like quite a chalenge Chris dodging all the boats/ships.. and kinda interesting.

I take it the fault has not been mapped in this area? I know the fault is akin to the San Andreas and I'm sure the data collection could be valuable when looking at the fault that is close to home..

I'm glad all the equipment made it thru fine - and it sounds like those ships made noise of their own - does it interfere with the data collection and I guess it gets filtered out in some way?

That's also quite interesting about the ship losing it's rudder - I sure hope no one was hurt - it must have done a bit of damage.
