Getting caught up on reading last few days posts. I don't know who or what is responsible for global warming but from a farmer's perspective the world has been changing. You know it is changing when a bunch of conservative, thoughtful farmers stand and talk about how much it is changed. They are less concerned about why as to what is going to happen to crops. When GW first hit in the media it was all about butterflies and nice things on the coast because the models didn't cover the interior. They talked about changes in rainfall, and warmer temps in relation to everything except impact on farming. In my world for much of it in North America it is another ugly year. Floods in IA, IL, MO, IN, WI. yet you can go to Arkansas and they are in drought. Yet SEK, SWMO so much rain the crops are no good or never planted. Wheat areas in Canada range from too wet to too dry. Extremes are becoming the norm in farming country and I can assure you crops don't like, we don't like it and it will impact you. And ethanol is not the real reason your food prices are rising. Expect the roller coaster to continue to new highs and lows faster than many of us can adjust too.
