Re: Global Warning Advocates -- is this what you want? |
Hi Barbara - I've always thought that having 'carbon credits' and being able to trade them a pretty bizarre idea.. I mean, why bother? It just allows the people doing the worst damage to continue to do it as long as they can pay for it.. I am seriously against further taxes.. but I'm afraid we're headed for a very severe increase given the odds for the next election.. I wrote a very interesting essay a few years back on Implementation of Marxism in America - outlining the measures of Marxism and how America is boldly embracing these precepts via our wonderful legislators. Quite an interesting read... I could post it as a pdf file if anyone is interested in it - written in 2002. I'd really like to propose a new law - Legislators, especially California legislators, must first create a balanced budget, and then, only after dealing with the budget, each house gets to author one law and one law only per legislative year... we've so many stupid, moronish, laws being passed that there's not much freedom left in America... But maybe if we had a bit more morality taught to our children, we wouldn't be needing so many laws.. OK - way off topic.. and I'll get off the soapbox..
