You call that little thing a tornado? We here in the heartland scoff at that little thing (is "scoff" a word?).

Actually, I've never seen one and a bit scared of them. I prefer hurricanes.
HW flew into LAX yesterday and said there was fresh snow on the LA area mountains. Snow expected down to 6000 feet in Sierra. May not be good for my cousin's fruit trees in foothills north of Nevada City (3500 feet/1000 meters).
