Yes, his name is Shou. I used to be in contact with him about five years ago, but we haven't emailed each other in years. He has a website. If you type in Shou and earthquakes and clouds in Google, I'm sure you will find it. I think he is associated with USC, but it's been years, so I may be wrong with that.
