warmest or 2nd warmest global March on record

The link to a U.S. government agency, NOAA, shows that for land surfaces of the globe, it was the warmest March on record (since 1880). Because of La Nina (cool east Pacific/tropical Pacific), the global oceans were less warm, so for the whole surface of earth, second warmest March ever. Annual trends and decadal trends are more important than monthly. I had heard somewhere that the earth has not been warming the last couple of years. But, can't remember where I heard this and it may simply not be true. If anyone is interested, could probably find global temperature info for last decade or last 50 years on NOAA somewhere.

Meanwhile, the May blizzard is winding down on the high plains and Black Hills. That would be called "weather".
