| 3.5 and 3.0 NW of Bishop |
There was a 3.5 oblique normal-strike-slip (half and half) a couple days ago, and a 3.0 strike slip today(?) just NW of Bishop at north end Owens Valley. Wonder if this is the start of something...maybe a swarm of small stuff? Probably similar tectonic setting/structural setting to Reno...except Bishop is near edge of Caldera. Just guessing on future quakes...not much (any?) basis. |
