OK Chris,

In the initial stage here I was looking for rapid loading. If I look at the yearly totals, then dry versus wet years would come into play. I think I hamstrung the finding because of my "So Cal mentality". We get most of our rain load from December thru March. This is not true for the midwest. I remember going through Lexington KY in June, and it rained cats and dogs. So hard that the interstate traffic came to a stand still...

Let me look for some yearly totals. Then I could break it down into winter, spring etc...The other thing would be to make the eq search cover just the Wabash seismic zone. In the data base it is listed separately from the New Madrid. The eq search I did was a 1000Km circular from the recent 5.2 quake. Maybe I should be more specific area wise, also.
