Pointless detail of day...there were 2 quakes today offshore Sumatra...near 5 deg N and 5 deg S, about 5 hours apart. Theye were each M5 (rounded to significant integer...they were 4.7 and 4.8 actually).
Clearly, I don't want to work on my paper on a cold Sunday afternoon.
