I heard an estimate years ago that 70 percent of all the oil DISCOVERED in California is still in the ground. The problem is, and probably always will be, the recovery of same.

Lots of our oil isn't of good quality, and many of our oilfields suffer from old corroded pipe and drilling limitations.

We need to look for alternatives. I don't know why we don't require every new home in California to have solar panels. We should lower the speed limit, etc....

I dunno....we're planet eaters.
