Well, the Spouse has been helping me with the plot for a sequel to "Rocket City:"

Larry has gotten his degree in geophysics from the Rajni School of Transcendental Geology outside Las Cruces, New Mexico and remains a bachelor. Meanwhile in Artesia, Figman's headaches worsen, causing him to be sure that the Big One is right around the corner. He hears strange tones in his ears that he knows just have to be tied to plate techtonics, and he gets hot from plate movement, feels like someone is hammering bamboo shoots under his fingernails daily, is at once sad, then happy, and vents relentlessly, when he isn't climbing the walls with anxiety. Verdie, now his wife and a geologist-wannabe, seems not to notice. Instead, she predicts earthquakes by observing changes in her edible underwear. (Thank you, Marco.)

In a separate plot, Marilee returns from California a changed woman, having published her first book, "The Healing Power of Olive Oil," with UpuplishUpay Press and Coffee Roasting Co. Ironically, Enoch, whom she searches for all over the state, (thus allowing the author and her spouse to vacation in lovely New Mexico and write the whole thing off as a tax deduction), has his own new book to take pride in, "The Healing Power of Popeye,"released by Bunkhouse Press under the pseudonym, R. N. Hunter.

I won't give away anything beyond this most basic introduction. I know you will understand.
