slightly oblique normal slip, consistent with Basin and Range extension. Just arrived in Santa Barbara after a long day...including driving over 3 hours to airport in sleet and freezing rain. You could tell where interstate 70 was especially base by the density of crashed cars. They just leave them there in the median or ditch for a day or 2...I suppose as a warning in part.
